It’s time to get Fiscally Fit

The weather is warming up and it is time for high school students to get fit, fiscally fit that is. April is Financial Literacy Month and Credit Unions across the state are helping high school students learn how to handle their finances. The Financial Fitness Money Management Experience is compared to an interactive ‘game of life,’ that builds awareness for youth education and for credit unions’ dedication to financial literacy in their communities.

There are three Financial Fitness Fairs in the next week that span across the state; starting on Friday, the 23rd at Biddeford High School. The following week fairs are being held across the state spreading from Standish and Norway to Limestone and are being put on through the hard work of 17 credit unions throughout the state and the Maine Credit Union League.
